The journey
starts here.

Chamonix, where I live, is the first chapter of this travel journal. Places I love, stories people have told me and addresses I want to share.

Doytcheva.

Doytcheva is the name of a woman in Au secours pardon, a novel by Frédéric Beigbeder. When I read it in 2012, I fell in love with her. She doesn’t exist, so I borrowed her name.

Since then, I’ve been taking photographs because I enjoy translating the way I see the world into images.

I think mathematics explains the world. That’s what I try to express by photographing symmetry, as though a mathematical relationship governed the whole universe.
